Pull-tabs are called many things: pull-tab tickets, breakaways, break open tickets, seal cards, peel-and-win cards, pop-opens, and peel-offs along with flares. We simply call them pull tabs, because the player “pulls” a tab on the game card and then reveals a prize underneath.
Pull-tabs are similar to scratch-off cards, however they hide a prize under a paper area instead of scratch-off material. Many clients prefer pull tab tickets rather than scratch cards, because of their ease-of-use: no scratching and no clean-up.
