H&H Graphics Snags 16 Awards in 2022 Graphics Excellence Awards Competition
Graphics Excellence Awards season in the Great Lakes region puts H&H Graphics into steep competition for innovative and beautifully designed print materials, so we are proud to report that we have earned 16 awards for our work this year.
The honors, given annually by the Great Lakes Graphics Association, include four “Best of Category” awards for print projects that include a popular scratch-off movie poster, a scented promotion for a fresh AF TBS television comedy and a scratch-off edition of a world map. Our fourth winner in this category – scented stickers for face masks – was also honored with a “special innovation” award.
H&H Graphics President and CEO Michelle Leissner called the awards a “source of inspiration” and said she was grateful both to the GLGA and to the H&H clients whose projects were singled out for recognition.
“The fact that our work gets recognized year after year is a tribute to the imagination and bold thinking of so many H&H clients who are willing to go for something different and extraordinary and innovative,” Leissner said.
A Shelf Full of Awards – and One Elf
Among the other H&H projects awarded at the 2022 GEA event were a “Best of Division” awarded hydrochromic magazine insert with a hidden message revealed when the ad is held under running water, and seven projects that received an “Award of Excellence.”
Award of Excellence winners included a cold-activated “elf on the shelf” holiday card, a gaming poster, a sunlight-activated vodka bottle display, Covid-19 smell test cards and a glow-in-the-dark book jacket for “A Creepy Poetry Collection.”
In all, H&H took home awards for multisensory printing techniques that included sunlight, water, and temperature activated chromic reveals, high-quality scented printing, custom glitter and scratch-off printing.
