Gaming Community’s Fundraiser Tops Its $250k Goal
An annual fundraising effort that brings together a popular gaming YouTuber with our client Pixel Empire has raised over $400,000 for two children’s charities.
The effort, led by YouTube personality Scott the Woz, features an array of limited edition Pixel Empire products. All proceeds go to support the Children’s Miracle Network, an organization that raises money for childrens’ hospitals and Critical Care Comics, a charity that sends volunteers in superhero costumes to deliver donated comic books and toys to homeless shelters, medical care facilities and hospitals.
Since meeting their fundraising goal – twice! – organizers have raised it to $450,000, with a deadline of Jan. 19.
